Editorial policy

This page explains how the guides, tool pages and prompt library on PromptGenia are created, checked and kept up to date, so you can judge how much to rely on them.

What we aim for

Every page should help you do something specific: write a better prompt, understand a setting or choose the right tool for a task. We prefer worked examples, before-and-after comparisons and clear explanations of when an option is useful over general claims. If a page cannot add something practical, it is not published.

How content is researched

  • Official documentation first. Model-specific advice, such as parameters, syntax and supported features, is checked against the provider's own documentation and help pages wherever they exist.
  • Hands-on testing. Example prompts are tried in the tools they are written for, and the advice on a page reflects what actually worked rather than what should work in theory.
  • No invented facts. We do not publish made-up statistics, user numbers, testimonials or quotes. When something cannot be verified, it is left out or clearly described as general guidance.
  • Timeless where possible. AI products change quickly, so pages avoid prices and version details that go stale and point you to official sources for the latest specifics.

How tools are built and tested

Tool pages describe only features the tool really has. Before a tool or a change goes live, it is tested with typical inputs, edge cases such as empty or very long text, and on desktop and mobile browsers. Where a feature depends on optional AI mode, the page says so, and the tool still produces a local result when AI mode is not available.

Scores and estimates, such as the prompt checker score, the token count or the AI detector result, are explained on their pages together with their limits.

Updates and reviews

Pages are reviewed when a model or product they describe changes in a way that affects the advice, when readers report a problem and as part of regular checks of older content. Each page shows the date it was last updated. A page is only marked as updated when its content actually changed.

Corrections policy

If you find an error, please tell us through the contact page with a link to the page and a short description. Reports are checked against the relevant source or by testing. Confirmed factual errors are corrected promptly and the page's updated date is changed. Significant corrections that change the meaning of advice are noted on the page. Typos and formatting fixes are made without a note.

Advertising and sponsored content

The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are displayed in separate, labeled areas and never inside the tools. Advertisers do not choose, review or approve content, and ads do not influence which tools or models are mentioned.

We currently do not publish sponsored articles, paid reviews or affiliate recommendations. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such at the top of the page, and editorial pages will remain independent.

Use of AI in our content

Because this is a site about AI tools, we use them in our work. Some text may be drafted or translated with AI assistance. Every page is then reviewed, edited and fact-checked by the editor, and its example prompts are tested before publishing. AI is never used to invent sources, reviews or experiences. The editor is responsible for everything published on the site.

Independence

PromptGenia is not affiliated with any AI company. Names of models and products are used to describe compatibility only. Read more about the project on the about page.
